- Advanced lead-calcium technology pumps up starting power
- Sulfation retardant dramatically reduces battery-killing plate sulfation
- Long lasting which means Maintenance Free batteries from will last up to three times longer than conventional batteries
- Exceptional resistance to vibration makes Yuasa the most reliable battery on the market today
- And, VRLA batteries hold voltage longer and need less charging in standby or storage mode
Failure caused by incorrect activation or charging is not a warranty issue. Further research by GS-Yuasa shows that 95% of alleged problems occurring with batteries that have been in service for more than a couple of months and have been left standing without charge are caused by sulfation. This is a condition where a crystal like material forms on the lead plates. When this chemical reaction happens, it is impossible to restore a full charge and the battery has to be replaced. This is NOT caused by a faulty battery, it is a fault with maintenance. Please ensure batteries are kept charged on a suitable charger when not in use.Retailers: This battery is supplied with a combi-pack containing acid and requires activation prior to sale. If it is an MF type, it should be filled and left to stand uncapped until all the acid has soaked into the battery plates, which gives the appearance of an empty battery. Only then can it be capped and charged. If this procedure is not followed correctly, it can result in battery spills and a shorter life span. MF types should never be unsealed or additional acid added. Note all measurements given are nominal and may vary by 1mm or so. For an exact measurement, please contact our sales office
