While recent statistics (from GOV.UK’s Road Accidents and Safety Statistics 2023 provisional report) make for great reading, with a reduction of 4% in fatalities, 10% reduction in those seriously injured, and 32% reduction in those slightly injured; this compared to 2013 stats and across all road users.
